that was from one of my fellow swimmers aim profiles. it's so true. it's almost done. i can't believe it's almost over. it has been an awesome four years and has definatley helped to make college fly by, and more enjoyable. i owe those people so much. it's crazy. to the three guys, and you two other girls who hung on with me for four years. cheers.

Haha, I <3 you bro for giving me that name. I got an e-mail from my summer boss saying he has a reimbursment check for me-YAY MONEY! Then he told me to go eat some pork, chick. lol, it was totally in reference to my aim screen name. I have my first IM Flag Football game tomorrow. Kinda nervious. I play center. What else. I'm kinda starting to like running. But I do it late at night and I get somewhat freaked out running on the track late at night by myself. Classes are going well. I have a Spanish test on friday. Hopefully it'll be easy, i just have to memorize the vocabulary. Oh, i got some packages in the mail today-my mom ordered me some allergy stuff. I'm totally sending back some of it. She bought me some totally UNNECISSARY stuff. OMG! TOTALLY forgot about this! My friend Crystal celebrated her 22nd birthday today and rented a HUGE blow-up Slip 'N' Slide. SOOOO much fun! it got set up behind the Phi Tau house and i played on it FOREVER! (1 and 1/2 hours!) I was one of the first people there-ok, my housemate Katie and I were the first people there, and we were the last ones to leave. People, take my advice and rent one! AMAZING!

Classes today were quick. I learned how to count from 0 to 30 in Spanish, albeit that I'm not that good at it yet. I also swam today. wow, it was odd. I feel so old in the pool. the freshmen are so young, like 17! AHHH! Also ran today, errr tonight. I've just got to keep reminding myself, Schloff. Schloff, Schloff.
Hm.... Well, GRANDMA might not be where you want her to be, but she's still here for you, and you don't need to know everthing about everything.... ;-) there always needs to be some sort of mystery about people.
talked to Leslie today. Yay! I miss you girl. Life will be 20 times better once everything is at your place. Miss you all so much.... Other than that, no new info to update ya'll on. Oh wait! I talked to Dianna last night online! It was so good to hear from her! I haven't really talked to her since the summer after our frosh. year of college when we were watching the band camp w/the seniors of '03. That's a long time ago!

Update, I forgot this!
WE HAVE DQ'S IN KENTUCKY! I went there today to get a Freeze and the really old lady that was working was like, "Honey, we ain't had those things here for years!" I was completely bumbed. That's all I've wanted since I left West Branch, a Lemon-Lime Freeze! DAMN REDNECKS! AHH! Oh, but the best part was when she said this. "Oh, that's like those there Moooooooolatte's that we have. We can fix yer one of those, but with the lemon-lime flavoring. But ya know, we are going to have to charge you the price of the MOOOOOOOooooooolatte." NO WAY! HELL NO! those things are like $4 a piece and a fricken Freeze is only $2! ARG! Yet, we do have Sonic down here...... :-/ Mmm... what else since the last post.... Got to talk to Rob and Mike. It was good times catching up with them. But I miss all of you soooo much! I don't know how often I just want to pack it up and come home just to see you all. SIGH. But this is the last year of school. And it has been AWESOME thus far. But now, I MUST go read some Invertebrate Biology and some Language Arts-I've already done my Spanish! ;-) :-*

weekend
wow! what a crazy weekend! it started friday when sarah and i headed to Heath, Ohio to spend the night before continueing the drive to Gambier, Ohio- aka butt fuck nowheresville ohio-to watch centre football take on kenyon-we killed them by the way, it was a great game! we stopped in Lexi on the way and did some shopping! yay for accessories and party tops! Then after the game on saturday we drove back for the Shooter Jennings concert. ROCK MY WORLD! it was on walnut street, so no seats. i was in the front row-rock on! then went to the phi delt house afterwards and shooter and crew were partying there too. PHENOMENAL! Danced w/laura and sarah for a bit, oh and kelly. FUN. mmmm... what else? talked to some old friends, it was good to catch up after not having talked to them not only all summer long, but also a few weeks before school let out. today was a relaxing day. woke up, cleaned the kitchen-aka washed dishes and the table and changed the garbage. did some grocery shopping at the 'mart. then basically just chilled all day today. ahh, isn't life grand! classes are still going well. nothing to report on just yet. trust me, ya'll will know when something happens.

A new found respect
This is what i have learned the past couple of days. My days here at college are numbered. soon i will be FORCED to go out into the real world. so party it up this year, make it a year of NO REGRETS! if you have to have a year with no regrets and it means not sleeping for five nights in a row so you can get that paper done, go to the parties and also go to practice, then DO IT! don't be a pansy ass! that's why i went out tonight. it was good fun. a group of us were going to go play in the monster sprinkler that waters the football field-it was on when i left the house at 11, but when we went back to play in it, it was off **tear**. Those of us now have plans to do it, but differently. and then we were going to play in the fountain, but they turned that off as well. what is it w/this school and shutting off water?! whateva. going to kenyon this weekend w/sarah to watch the boys play football. :-) hopefully it'll be a blast. ROADTRIP! I figure i need to get a few of those in before my life becomes too boged down in hoomework, papers, projects. oh also, i'm on what creel calls the celery and carrot diet. lol. we are work out buddies. we are running and lifting weights. watch out camp and schloffers. i'm going to be in full force next year. this old lady is going to whoop ya'll! ok....... time for bed now!

yeah, i really have no life
So, first day of classes on labor day. Invertebrate is going to be kinda sweet. i'm looking forward to it. it was odd b/c it was a science class and there are only 6 people, including me, in the class. it's not going to be good b/c they are all bio majors adn then me... the lil' ol' edu. major. crap. spanish will be hard, but i think it will be fun. that is if i can get a new partner than the frosh who sits behind me and already appears to be a major SLACKER. language arts methods should be, eh, who knows. poop on teachers for saying they are goign to have pop quizzes. shame on you! tonight for dinner sarah, katie, auymi and i went to lexi for sushi. they TOTALLY forgot to bring me my food. dip shits. oh well. i finally got it. then we went to get some wine b/c it sounded good. well sarah and i were standing in the store, like the "clueless" "blondes" that we are-ok, so me-nad i was like, well, i'm just ogin ot call my dad for a suggestion. I did, on mom's cell? and he was like, um... i can't really talk, i'm in the er. WHAT?! come to find out he cut his foot on a clam in the lake taking the dock out, but he's ok. um... what else. that's about it. Our house is still in shambles.... ok, my stuff is still in shambles. the rest of the house is good. I just have ADD and it takes toooo much concentration to put all of my stuff away! LOL. my peps. i <3 you!

Exhausted
Well, I'm moved in and have gone through "welcome weekend" here at Centre. Not much to report on. Love my roomies..... er my house mates. we went out last night. i didn't get home till 3:40. ah yes, good ol' college. Our house is starting to get put together. our room on the other hand.... it still needs a lot of help. it'll come around soon though.We have yet to put posters up-I think that might be my job. I have 3 classes tomorrow and i'm excited. Invertebrate bio, spanish and language arts methods.

Dude, so i just found a neat thing on here! SWEET look what I figured out how to do! haha, i'm a dork! I can even change the color of my font! Sweet! So my aol account page thingy is in the process of being updated. It's here if you wanna look at it..... Lis found me on LJ too! yay! i'm sooo hyped to move now to Centre C. somehow this small liberal arts school, in boo-fu kentucky, as hard as it is, somehow tugs at your heart strings and you honestly have no idea why. that's about it. allergy shots tomorrow-UG. gotta love my life. I'm getting depressed more and more as the cost of gas keeps going up and up. I know i have very little to complain about because i still have my house and everything unlike the people in LA. Oh well. Yay for leaving on Friday! Can't wait to get this year over/SR. year is always fun! All I have been doing is packing, packing, packing! now i have to clean, clean, clean!

another day, another evening
Sooo, yeah, today was a long day. Met with Steve, all went well. Kinda odd, my head kinda hurt at the end of the meeting-tooooooooooooooo much thinking. Came home, chilled out with the pets. Oh, gave the cat a bath... I know, it's been an exciting day. Then I started the daughnting (sp?) task of packing for school. I got as far as some t-shirts- by the way, i can't find my campers wanted t-shirt, so if you have an extra one, large i think or medium, please send it my way-, some party clothes, some hoodies, sweat pants, and um... oh yeah, washed my sheets b/c they smelled like ick from just being packed all summer. Really kinda wanted to go out tonight, but it's not that smart to go out to a bar by yourself, espeically if you are female (on top of that i was going to go to hamilton st.). Oh well. Saw Heidi today, she's doing well.... hmm... my life sucks. it's boring. Talked to some people in KY today-that was honestly really fun. My housemate Sarah and I chated tonight for like an hour, it was great-miss ya girlie! Also chated w/Chas. Sounds like we are going to have some "problems" this year w/the exect. Oh well. I'm just the state sec/historian. It's not like i'm the pres. or pres. pro-temp. But i still <3 my KEA-SP Crew! Oompa, not sure if it's going to work b/c tomorrow i'm packing all day and cleaning all day (minus the dog "sitting" time) :-/ Oh well.
Oh yes, my bitch time. dudes, aka males, just because a friend calls you and wants to chill/hang out/go out, it does not mean that they want to make-out/get-it-on with you. Sometimes all we need is some "testosterone" to hang out with, drink beer, and watch sports on tv. Plus, sometimes we just seriously need to get out of our houses before we murder our parents! OK?! Geeze!

and i keep going, and going, and going....
wow, i have spent way too much time at this thing the past couple of days. simply because i've been re-writing the whole CIT manual so i don't have to do it later this year when i want to put it into my school portfolio. let's see.... e-mailed my observing teacher, can't wait to work with her. found out my computer got shipped-yay for laptops! :-D that's going to make my day when it arrives, then i can spend MORE money purchasing programs to put on it! have yet to pack for school, although my room seems to be getting a little more organized.
I have to say that the howard stern show is becoming one of my favorite tv shows to watch. also, i scaned some pictures onto my computer-made me super happy!
I went swimming today too. wow! glad i did that. swimming this fall is going to suck so much! i feel soooo outta shape and on top of that we are going to have all those new froshies that have been swimming all summer b/c they don't realize just how LONG our season is. GOSH....
ok, i'm super not doing anything the rest of this week, so call me duders and let's do something!
